Robot Japan!

 

Started this over a year ago on a friend, probably due to the small sessions, its not finished! The\robot is from a modern japanese artist called tenmyouya, who combines contemporary themes in a traditional block print style.

Old school Pigeon: Rat with wings.

 

Still one wing to finish, about an hour to line, then a couple of hours to colour and shade. Used a mix of greywash, and then an opaque grey: white mixed with grey. Gives it more of a solid / stone look.  Shame its on a complete knob head.

 Forgot I did this on my brother karl. I think it had just started to heal. Funny stuff.

Had some time to draw  AND add a little colour this week. With shit pencils.

Took about 1 and a half for this one, on a sunday. Dermaglo red, and the mostly intenze. Nice

This was a few a months old, just found a pic of it. Didnt do the birds, but I think the glass and roses took around 2-3 hours maybe? Still freshly done. Really like that orange rose....

Day of the dead Work

Heres a few D.O.T.D female faces Ive enjoyed working on over the past few months. I keep the hair in a traditional style, simple lines, lots of black and then have fun getting some nice fleshtones in the skin. DEAD good fun. Ahem.
